We can’t wait for The Full Monty!
September 23, 2016
Who knows Marc Reynolds from Emmerdale? Well the Leeds lad is coming back to his home town in November when he takes on the role of Lomper in The Full Monty.
Other stars getting their kit off include Gary Lucy (Danny Pennant in EastEnders, DS Will Fletcher in The Bill, Kyle Pascoe in Footballer’s Wives and winner of Dancing on Ice… the list goes on) as Gaz.
Andrew Dunn (best known as Tony in Dinnerladies) plays Gerald, Louis Emerick (Mick Johnson in Brookside and PC Walsh in Last of the Summer Wine) is Horse, Chris Fountain (Justin Burton in Hollyoaks and Tommy Duckworth in Coronation Street, a runner-up of Dancing on Ice) as Guy and Kai Owen (best known for his portrayal of Rhys in Torchwood) as Dave.
If you’ve seen the British film about six out-of-work Sheffield steelworkers with nothing to lose, you will definitely be interested in this stage version. The original writer of the film, Simon Beaufoy, has adapted the screenplay for the stage production so it’s just as original and hilarious as the film.
Catch The Full Monty at Leeds Grand Theatre from Monday 28th November to Saturday 3rd December.
