During Spring 2014, Interplay toured FRIDA: A Sensory Theatre Production For Schools. ‘Frida’ explores the life of Mexican painter and 20^th Century icon, Frida Kahlo.

Written by Greg Cullen, ‘Frida’ transcends straight biography to create a passionate, impressionistic look at an artist whose life and work, both tragic and triumphant, increasingly speak to the sensibilities of today.

The production has been touring schools across the UK during Spring 2014 and the company is now booking for its Autumn touring show, PAINT…

‘PAINT’ – A Truly Different Sensory Painting Experience

 

Paint works across the five senses, weaving together live music and performance with action painting and messy play to create one of the greatest sensory experiences Interplay have ever created.

Paint is an interactive arts project that allows young people with profound and multiple disabilities to leave a trace in a space using the medium of paint. Housed in a bespoke dome that Interplay will tour to your school, Paint blurs the lines of theatre, dance, painting and music. The interaction of ‘Paint’ is one that can’t be explained using just words, you must feel and experience it for yourself to truly understand it.
