How often in life do we say: ‘I wish I’d done that?’

There is that great observation by the American actress and comedian Lucille Ball: “I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done”.

And it was in that spirit that the idea for this exhibition was born – work by a group of people united through their involvement with the BBC in Leeds.

Join The Gallery at Munro House on Monday 14 December as they launch their next exhibition Artcasts: Beyond the BBC with a special guest performance from The Dunwells.

Over the years the artists in this exhibition flirted with an artistic existence beyond the BBC, trying to be creative together but ending up as sad solitary outcasts – individuals adrift on a sea of news, broadcast via television, radio and the web.

The result is this eclectic mix of work, by a group now known as The Artcasts.

The exhibition launch takes place Monday 14 December 6.30- 8.15pm whilst the exhibition runs until Saturday 19 December 2015. The Gallery and Cafe will close Wednesday 23 December and re-open Monday 4 January 2016
