A Grand line-up for 2018

jane-eyre-gallery-1 (1)2018 will see a range of top shows visit Leeds Grand Theatre, from brand new musicals to old classics and dance extravaganzas in between.

Northern Ballet brings Jane Eyre to the stage from 7th – 14th March, promising live music and fantastic dance. Tango Moderno will see Strictly stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace take to the stage from 10th-14th April.

If you were a fan of BBC1’s Let It Shine, then don’t miss The Band when it comes to Leeds from 20th – 31st March for your chance to see the competition’s stars shine on stage. Gary Barlow’s Calendar Girls The Musical is also coming to Leeds from 15th August – 1st September.

The Officer and a Gentleman arrives on 24th-28th April to sweep audiences off their feet with a range of hit 80s tracks. For Carole King fans, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical arrives in town from 29th May – 2nd June. Fans of The King, however, will be delighted to see This Is Elvis on 4th-9th June.

For comedy fans, ART comes to Leeds from 3rd-7th April, starring Nigel Havers, Stephen Tompkinson and Denis Lawson. You also won’t want to miss The Comedy About a Bank Robbery from the team being The Play That Goes Wrong.

Cats will also hit the stage on 17th-21st April thanks to Leeds Amateur Operatic Society. Don’t miss out on your chance to support a local organisation and see a fantastic musical.

Murder mystery fans will love The Case of The Frightened Lady, whilst Leeds theatre fanatics won’t want to miss Wicked fly through Leeds on 13th June – 7th July or feed-good musical Summer Holiday from 31st July – 4th August.

Rounding up 2018 is Jersey Boys on 20th November – 1st December and Shrek The Musical from 18th December – 6th January.
