Saturday 27th – Sunday 28th June 2015

Leeds Waterfront Festival brings the waterways alive every year by hosting a fantastic eclectic mix of music, performance, arts and fun for all the family. The festival will be jam-packed with activities and creativity both on the water and on dryland, stretching across 4 miles of Leeds waterfront.

Waterfront Festival SATURDAY-®LizzieCoombes2014 - 131

You will find the best in Arts, Entertainment, Music, Food, Drink and family fun right across Leeds Waterfront from the heritage of Thwaite Mills to the impressive Leeds Dock and Royal Armouries, the lively & uber-cool Brewery Wharf and Calls Landing on Call Lane, a little taste of France hosted by Brasserie Blanc at Victoria Wharf…finishing up at the fabulous Granary Wharf.

You can sit back and watch performances and bands from the best bars and restaurants on offer in Leeds, with a fabulous view of the waterfront, or choose from a wealth of specialist street foods stalls whilst browsing the vintage, handmade and steampunk markets at each site. You can stroll along the canal meeting artists and buskers along the way, take a musical barge trip and live graffiti art. This year, we have enlisted knitters from Leeds and as far as France to work with OWL Industries to create an extraordinary ‘yarn bomb’ on an ice cream van! For those that don’t know…this entails covering the van entirely with knitting and crochet!

Leeds Dock’s theme this year is ‘Folk and Ale’ with loads of great local ales and folk music all weekend, fantastic local street food, a great market and plenty of family entertainment. The festival is fun and friendly at Leeds Dock and welcomes all.
