John Robins: The Darkness of Robins comes to Leeds City Varieties

John Robins is a rising star amongst the comedy circuit. Having appeared on TV shows such as Mock The Week and Russell Howard’s Good News, his unique brand of comedy is sure to make a splash when he arrived in Leeds on 26th January 2018. Described as “powerful, angst-ridden comedy”, we’re sure he hasn’t bagged the Double Chortle Award for nothing.

Though I haven’t seen John Robins perform live before, his style of comedy is certainly right up my street. His sarcastic, distinctive style means Robins doesn’t take himself too seriously (he’s a comedian, after all). As a relatively new name, I hope the people of Leeds really get behind him and this show is a great success.
